Steel used for knife
Our knives using of steel material selection for international quality special blades, among others: steel O1, D2 steel, 440C steel, ATS-34 steel and Damascus steel. This type of steel used will be indicated on the blade, except Damascus steel that is already visible.
Our production of some types of steel blades depending on the tastes of the customer, as for the standard steel that we use is of steel a 440C. O1 Tool Steel
Steel is featured with high carbon content and low chromium, high hardness max 65 Hrc. Easily corroded and require good care. Chemical composition is: C = 0.95%; Si = 0:25%; Mn = 1:10%; Cr = 0:55%; V = 0:10%; W = 0:55%
D2 Tool Steel
Steel is featured with high carbon content and high chromium, high hardness max 64 Hrc. Although fairly resistant but still not free of rust, but this material is very popular with users because of the high hardness knife so sharp durable and easily sharpened when blunt. Chemical composition is: C = 1.55%; Si = 0:25%; Mn = 0:35%; Cr = 11.8%; Mo = 0.80%; V = 0.95%
440C Stainless Steel
A stainless steel with a sufficiently high carbon content and high chromium, high hardness max 60 Hrc. Highly resistant to corrosion, hardness pretty good but when blunt to sharpen it a little more clay than the blades of steel D2. Chemical composition is: C = 1:05%; Si = 0:40%; Mn = 0:40%; Cr = 17.0%; Mo = 12:50%
ATS-34 Stainless Steel
Is one of the best current types of steel, high carbon, high khromiumnya, Highly resistant of rust and hardness 60-61 Hrc max. Highly recommended for the makers of knives, although if still a little dull clay to be sharpened. Chemical composition is: C = 1:03%; Si = 0:25%; Mn = 0:41%; Cr = 13.74%; Mo = 3.56%; P = 0.026%; S = 0.001%
Damascus Steel
Is a type of steel through the process of forging a two-layer Nickel Iron with different color then folded and hammered again until hundreds of folds that form a pattern as desired. This steel is more highlighted on the art and the patterns formed on the steel.
workshop
Currently we have a workshop with an area of 1000 m2 with 30 employees who already have good experience in manufacturing Handmade knife. Equipment used enough to support their work, the current production capacity of 300 blades in a month. Raw materials are available with capacities exceeding production.
